This series consists of lists of discounted notes and bills in suit at the Branch Bank of Mobile in 1849 Oct. Included are the county name, the names of the first, second, and third payers of the note or bill, when the note is due, the amount of the note, whether the suit was filed in county or circuit court, the balance due on the debt, the debt classification (bad, good, or doubtful), the amount and date of judgment, and remarks concerning the return made on the writ of execution.
